About
Dr. Anton Gates is a business scholar, educator, and industry executive specializing in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and strategic business leadership. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Management from Capella University, where his doctoral research examined the characteristics of successful digital transformation strategies and introduced the Agile-Design Thinking Digital Transformation framework, a model designed to improve the execution and success rate of enterprise digital initiatives.
Dr. Gates serves as an adjunct faculty member across several universities, including Southern New Hampshire University, the University of Maryland Global Campus, Eastern University, Columbia Southern University, California Baptist University, and Colorado State University Global. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in business strategy, project management, leadership, and digital transformation, and serves as a dissertation committee member for Doctor of Business Administration candidates at California Baptist University. At Eastern University, he also contributed to the development of an MBA concentration in Artificial Intelligence focused on improving operational efficiency in business organizations.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Gates brings more than three decades of executive leadership and consulting experience in enterprise technology, portfolio management, and digital innovation. He has led complex transformation initiatives for multinational organizations, applying artificial intelligence, data analytics, and agile management frameworks to improve strategic execution and operational performance.
